Independent travel
Your own pace, your own schedule. I book the hotels, rail passes, private transfers and hand-picked guided excursions; you decide how long to linger over lunch. Ideal for return visitors.
Custom & private tours
A private driver-guide, a family-heritage itinerary or a small group of friends: I work with specialized suppliers to build a journey that exists only for you.

How active do you want to be?
Every tour is rated so you know what to expect. If mobility is a concern, tell me. I'll steer you toward the right pace and the right hotels.
Easy
Mostly coach sightseeing and short, level walks. Hotel stays of two or more nights in each place.
Moderate
Walking tours of up to a couple of hours, some cobblestones, stairs and hills. The most common level.
Active
Longer walks and hikes, uneven terrain and earlier starts, for travelers who love to be on the move.
What to expect
Early mornings
Luggage is often out by 7:00 on travel days. In return, you see more before the crowds arrive.
Free time, built in
Good tours balance guided sightseeing with afternoons and evenings on your own.
Travel light
One suitcase and a day bag. I'll send you a packing list made for your itinerary.
